I only heard D’s new song Torikago Goten ~L’Oiseau Bleu~ and it is beautiful. I can’t explain exactly why it is so beautiful but I love everything about it. The pv was breathtaking and the meaning behind the song is amazing. I love everything about this song. The concepts that this piece draws upon can only be said to be of raw beauty and sincerely meaningful. I can’t stop listening to it even though it is 6 minutes plus and I generally don’t loop songs longer than 4:30 minutes. (laughs) This song is too good.
This song is more than just a delightfully beautiful listen though. The underlying meaning is probably what truly captures me and how it is depicted in the pv is just wow. It makes me think so much not just about the music but the world and my own life. I feel growing older another year and then watching this - it gave me a revelation. It’s almost like I see the world in a slighter different light. I view and understand myself in a whole new perspective. It’s amazing what the power of a few words and beautiful music can do. (laughs)
I just can’t stop thinking about it. The song. Everyone is seeking happiness and go through so much just to gain it but in the end they discover that they had happiness all along. That concept just really gets to me. It shouts to me that everything I ever wanted, all the family and friends I could ever want are already with me and by my side. The more I listen to this song the more that belief is compounded within me. I don’t wish to seek for more - or maybe for greater happiness - because I already have everything I have already. I only need to work to achieve in making the best of what I have already.
Somehow, just vaguely, this reminds me of the Vampire Chronicles. When you read this, I don’t want you to think this is just another series of vampire books in which is just about what vampires do and perhaps how glorious their life is because these books are so much more than that. I’ve only read 4 of the books but even from those few you can understand and realise so much about humanity. Not everyone can enjoy because admittedly, most of the stories talk about modern religion but it is still worth reading. These are creatures they have eternity at their fingertips. To some it is a curse but to others it is a gift but the most important point is they have endless time to explore humanity and its philosophies and throughout, discover themselves.
To me, it’s that self-discovery that makes everything so enjoyable. Every emotion that grips you as you follow the characters is amazing. It’s hard to put in words how much some of the characters have moved me and how much certain passages make me think so much about certain issues present within our world. I really want to read all the books. I want to immerse myself in their world and come to know each and every character. At the moment though, I feel like I’ve been thrown all over the place because the order of the books is not really strict. Some say this order and others say that order. (laughs)
If I want to finish that series I think I’ll need to save a lot of money and buy them all at once! (laughs)
It’s getting late now. Everyone please ponder on the philosophies of humanity. In the meantime I shall sleep on the questions such pondering brings me.
