Just a Quickie...
I said something silly to my music teacher today and for some reason it's been bothering me since.
Upon requesting to borrow her mini-disk player so I could record some coursework, she explains that if it were broken, then I'd be looking at a £300 replacement fee. For some reason, this caused me to think about the money I'd been saving up for my video camera and that I could thus use that instead of getting my parents in trouble.
I then said, "Well I have lots of money, so that should be alright" semi thinking-aloud. She then looked at me oddly and said, "Well, good for you."
I couldn't think of a remedy at the time, and I sounded like such a fool. I've been making loads of stupid remarks like that recently- more perhaps without even realising it; as I did up until I saw her reaction.
On top of this, I am properly going to try and stop swearing unnecessarily from now because it's...well...unnecessary.
Regardless, she let me borrow the mini-disk player, so I now have one less piece of cursework to worry about =).

The panic I had all day about losing my English book has faded because...I found it. In a box. In the loft. What it was doing there, I will never know; hopefully a mistake by one of my other family members; hopefully not me hiding it from myself. It is *just* an english book, but it had all my notes and important information in it that I would miss and suffer without.
