This weekend just seemed to slip through my fingers like money put into the clasping fingers of the wind.
I didn't particularly mind, but I have had no time to do stuff alone; which happens most weekends, thus making me feel a bit...overwhelmed and tired. Especially as I got relatively little sleep on Saturday what with the wild wild party of my parents and having Phil sleep over.
I was also far less productive than I hoped, having done none of the homework or revision that I need to do.
I did, however, do some filming yesterday (at night[!]), which was wonderful; this was then followed up by the pleasure of Ed's company, which is a wonderful thing.

Ben is back, which is lovely. Titch is now on the plane to Rome and won't be back 'til late Friday, which makes me feel missing and weird even now.

A thought that occurred to me but that I haven't got round to writing yet is how much I value things now. Because, as I've mentioned previously, I'm doing a lot more things I don't want to do a lot more of the time, I now look forward to the little things: getting up in the morning and eating breakfast, reading the paper, walking in between lessons, breaks from work, walking into a lesson to find a teacher not there yet, taking time to get my equipment out, everything. At the time of thinking this, I thought it quite a negative thing, but now I see it as quite positive. It's a half-full, half-empty thing.

From my discussion with Ed, I was also relieved to find that some of the thoughts and ways I am currently going through things are happening to other people too. It's wonderful to have someone who understands that.

thoughts, weekend
