im going to boston tomorrow. we're racing in the HEAD OF THE CHARLES REGATTA. im gonna try to explain the significance of this, but you would never really understand unless youve rowed.
the head of the charles is literally the largest regatta in the world. there will be more than 8000 rowers there. that's more than 8000 people as crazy as me or worse. it is the mecca of rowing. it's one HUGE rowing festival. a celebration of rowing. tons of tradition. there are gonna be a billion vendors...almost like a mall at the race site. there is gonna be row-a-palooza band thing too.
i cant believe i get to go this year. it means absolutely everything to me. rowing is my life. this is going to be fun.
we're leaving at 4:30am for the bham airport. 4 days o fun. woo!
