the recipe is from Nina Simonds' "Classic Chinese Cuisine", one of the many books i borrowed from Wellington Central Library. (i am hoping for a financial windfall so i can buy a lot more books! hehe.) one of the many "classic" chinese cookery books, it isn't as comprehensive as irene kuo's or barbara tropp's but it does have a few interesting recipes. i didn't feel like cooking from it because some moron decided to "take" a few pages from the book. hasn't he heard of a photocopier? what an idiot!
i have a long list of books that i want to borrow from the library, one of them is the momofuku cookbook! yahooo! can't wait to cook and blog about it!
