when i pass my NZAS certification exam mid this year, i'm going to celebrate by getting myself a few more cookbooks. (hey i need some motivation to study, don't i?)
so here are a few cookbooks which i'll probably going to get:
1. Peter Reinhart's "Whole Grain Techniques"
borrowed this from the library and thought it was an awesome book. his "100% whole wheat sandwich bread" is my go-to recipe for everyday breakfast bread. i have yet to try other recipes from the book, but would like to in the near future. WW cinnamon rolls definitely piqued my interest, and so is making my own WW pizza base.
i have his "Bread Baker's Apprentice" (BBA) book although I haven't baked from it yet as I have placed a (sort-of) ban on white flour consumption on myself. so i'm not sure if i could work BBA recipes with WW. i'd rather not try because i don't want to fail.
2. Fuchsia Dunlop's "Land of Plenty"
i've been wanting it ever since i fell in love with her RCC cookbook. and since i couldn't find a copy of it in local libraries, i've decided i want it for my collection.
3. David Chang's "Momofuku"
still not terribly convinced about getting this, since i'm reading a few mixed reviews on this book. some people love it, whilst others thought some of his recipes are way too complicated for a home cook to follow.
