wedding kwentos (za conclusion)

After that hilarious beer drinking game, Joel’s good friend JR was called to give his dinner toast. He gave a heartwarming speech about how loyal and how great of a husband Joel’s going to be. Thanks JR for that very witty speech!

Then we were called for our first dance and I wasn’t feeling confident about our it because truth be told, I really forgot the steps to the last part of the dance. The last time Joel and I practiced our dance was three days ago and we never got around to rehearse again.

Our dance was composed of three parts, a standard we slow-danced to and two upbeat songs  (Ne-Yo and Rihanna). Of course we kept that a secret, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the dance! The funny thing was, everyone thought Joel couldn’t dance but I was the one who actually got confused and everything snowballed onto Joel’s shoulders. Hehehe.

Our blocking was wrong from the start. We were taught to face our guests but forgot about this until we started our dance, so obviously we were off to a wrong start, literally. We tried as much as we can to remedy the situation but panic ensued and I took lead (which was wrong since I forgot my steps) and it looked like Joel wasn’t ready at all! (disclaimer: Joel remembered more of the steps than I did, so there. I royally sucked.)

Well we definitely enjoyed our dance anyway and happy that most of the guests liked it too even if we were all over the dance floor.

After our dance we had to wait another fifteen minutes because our on-site AVP still wasn’t ready. But thankfully they were able to finish rendering it before everyone walked out (only two people did, thank goodness). It was cheesy as hell, seriously, and I couldn’t take any of it! Hwehehe. Joel was the one who chose the AVP song (Gavin Rossdale’s “Love Remains The Same”) and because the song was too drama, they made us act cheesy scenes to be used for the AVP.

AVP done in three minutes and our emcee signaled it was the end of our reception. We did a few more rounds of photo-taking with our guests and friends and before we knew it everyone was already on their way back.

We were ecstatic people close to us were there to witness our wedding. Even though throwing a wedding can make a serious dent on your wallet, the memories are definitely priceless, clichéd as it may sound.

Okay, now that I’ve already finished my wedding kwentos, let’s make way for our Supplier’s Ratings!
