wednesday
had a long day- kick-started it by bathing three of our cats. luckily enough these cats didn't put up a fight. kuring (our senior cat) meowed her heart out and tried escaping but to no avail. now her fur's really lovely, she looks a lot healthier. the next i bathed were tofu & beanie, our heaviest cats and they were a joy to wash- didn't make it hard for me.
had my 4th fitting today too, and i must say i'm quite pleased with how my gown is turning out! sorry no photos as joel didn't bring my camera and my phone's camera is too crappy. the fitting we had last friday was ok, i wasn't too excited about the fit as it didn't really flatter me but after the overhaul- damn, i look better. seriously. the fit's near perfection (there were a few areas that needed alteration but not major) although i didn't notice the change in color- veluz said it's creamier this time.
funny how she was very blunt about not liking the previous gown- color was too "raw" and didn't suit me. she was too unhappy with it which is why she decided to change the whole gown and i'm happy she did. i like the new gown a lot better... and i have a smaller waist now. wahaha. still have one final fitting on september. exciting! can't wait to see joel's reaction on my gown... should rock his socks. and forgot to mention the new gown has two looks, thanks to mum!! the original i shall wear at church and remove them during reception. and no, it's not a bolero because i don't want one!
we did some grocery shopping at cash & carry and went to the kapon clinic of cara philippines. there were a lot of adorable cats there! i particularly fell in love with this sweet grey/white male. can't believe people hate cats for no apparent reason- they DO NOT smell if they are well taken care of! their poop do smell but they usually clean up after themselves after doing the deed- they bury their waste which dogs don't do. they can be really sweet animals.
there was this nice female who lost her left eye because some idiot shot her with a pellet gun. another female became timid of humans because some jerk poured boiling water on her. if you don't like them- just stay away from them. please do not harm them!
anyway it was nice catching up with nancy of cara after a long time and will try and see if i can join them for their monthly meeting at makati.
okay, going back to our wedding prep- we met with our coordinator and florist this afternoon and it was productive. can't wait to see the arrangements because i can be a huge flower nut. i have relented and allowed roses to be used but gerberas are still out of the picture.
also happy we're close to finishing filling out our coordinator's checklist. hehehe. i'm really lazy about completing it so quite pleased only a few items left to be done. hurray. :)
had dinner at edsa shangri-la tonight and food was great. i was stuffed.
ok i have to rest for we have a long day (again) ahead of us tomorrow.
