friday & saturday
got home from ventura's party about twenty minutes ago. she had her 27th birthday at gerry's grill, silver city. food was fantastic and i can't get enough of ginataang kuhol. yum yum! it was great catching up with her, kimlee & leanne again; and knowing more about the latest news about our batchmates (who lately got married or engaged).
i woke up about 11am this morning, still recovering from our early flight yesterday. then joel picked me up and we had a busy afternoon.
after having lunch at their place, we went to MTQ first to collect his confirmation certificate. we then went to greenhills to get his racket restrung. i also got my racket "re-gripped". we met up with two of his friends and had halo-halo at chowking. I LOVE CHOWKING'S HALO-HALO! that's how halo-halo should be, not razon's. sorry to say.
after collecting our rackets, we headed to battledore badminton courts and played our hearts out for 3 hours. too bad we couldn't stay long as we still had to go to ventura's party but dang, i really wanted to stay on.
that was our busy saturday.
oh oh, yesterday we had our fitting. my gown's coming along nicely although veluz decided on changing my gown's color as she thought it was too light on me. and minor changes to the bodice's design... we totally agreed on adding more color to the gown's sparkles as it was too silvery.
mum thought the gown's nice... well she said i could use it again for other formal occasions and i agree as it's not your typical gown that you can only use once.
joel also had his fitting and once he tried on his unmade suit, they threw away the whole thing and started from scratch. veluz thought he would look better in a three-button suit and i couldn't agree more. he looked slimmer and younger.
so we're having our fitting again on wednesday. i wonder how my dress will turn out now.
ok, time to hit the sack. will try to blog again tomorrow.
