seriously, i have got to be the only bride on the planet who thinks it's an absolute chore to plan her wedding.

checklist taken from Patty (thank goodness for fellow brides!)

1. Church
o Book church and chosen date
o Arrange for flowers and unity candle (we're not having a unity candle lighting ceremony)

o Choose wedding priest (this is one of the important things to do! a celebrant can make or break the ceremony)
o Attend canonical interview
o Attend pre-cana seminar
o Submit church and legal requirements (we've ROMed here, so all that's left to do are organising the church requirements and getting our NSO marriage certificate)
o Submit names of lectors and commentators
o Submit names of principal sponsors
o Have misalette approved
o Submit name of photographer and videographer

2. Reception
o Book reception venue
o Discuss menu and schedule taste test -
o Discuss reception details (flowers, waiters, etc) (i've emailed Sonya's regarding this but I have a huge feeling they wouldn't be able to follow my details... i know they will fail miserably. trust me on that.)
o Buy wine

3. Photo
o Book photographer
o Schedule studio and outdoor prenup
o Choose prenup pics for tarpaulin (we're not having our faces blown-up and plastered on a huge piece of material)
o Choose prenup pics for AVP

o Prepare list of mandatory shots

4. Video
o Book videographer
o LCD projector (c/o Lia)

o Prepare music for on-site AVP

5. Couturier
o Book couturier

10. Hair and Make-up Artist

o Discuss schedule on wedding day

11. Cake
o Choose cake supplier
o Discuss details with cake supplier
o Order cake souvenirs 2 weeks before the wedding

12. Host/Strings/Sound System
o Choose band for church and reception
o Choose emcee
o Give repertoire to quartet or band

13. Hotel
o Choose hotel
o Reserve rooms for wedding day (I hope Sonya's did already, I've emailed them a couple of times regarding this)

14. Invitations
o Inform supplier
o Prepare draft of invitation

o Actual printing of invites

15. Souvenirs (not having specially made souvenirs)
