i hope we'll get to own one before our euro trip!
richard connived with me into brainwashing joel about getting one and splitting costs (with me). hehehe. what can i say, i lust this lens and i really wish i could own one despite its hefty price of $25xx!! i swear with this one and my tamron 17-50mm i'm good for, say, a few months years. but i still need a macro lens to go with my collection. :)
had dinner with richard today at ayam penyet ria. i love their avocado shake!! so damn good. *drool* it was great seeing richard again after almost a month hahaha. really, he's such a fun person to hang around with. learned from him that he's finally going solo after being jayson's second photographer for so long. i wish him well and i know his clients will enjoy his company (and output) too! good luck richard!
ok enough geek talk.
finally saw "lust, caution" and it was good. i still can't believe the contortive sexual positions they (tony leung & tang wei) performed. i mean, seriously, can you really do those in real life? but sex acts aside, tang wei was great in her role. too bad she wasn't nominated for an oscar.
"no country for old men" was deserving of its oscar win. javier bardem was super creepy in his role as a sociopath. i thought the cat & mouse plot was pretty good and the tension was really high.
next on the movie list: "juno". hope it's worth the hype!
