giant eighteenth cupcake

Okayy-so its my eighteenth birthday in a couple of weeks. I'm planning what will hopefully be an alright gathering and thus, would need a cake. Hmm so far my only idea is to biuld the basic shape out of sponge cake block things (I don't know the techniqual term so if you don't know what I mean you're not retarded) and add all the lines on the bottom with smaller strips of sponge. Then ice it.
That doesn't sound like it will work. I'll keep thinking on it. Maybey check out a library for cake making books and they'll have some tips for creating your own origional shaped cakes.
On anouther note I just wfinished making a bunch of cupcake charms for a bracelet I'm making a girl from school. What a coincidence (sp). XD

I remember one book I used when I made my sis a netball cake was really useful, no idea about the name of it though sorry.

Well it was her B-day yesterday and she wanted a charm bracelet with all cakes and junk food on it. So I made it. Hence then cupcakes :P
