Curiosity killed the cat....

A very long time ago, I read an awesome story called (I'm fairly certain) "The Cat." It was written backwards, in sections, beginning with Lex's death despite Clark's efforts to save him, and ending with the revelation that Lex had set these events in motion in an effort to learn Clark's secrets. Does anyone know where I could find that fic?

I actually tried to post this to sv_inquiry, but couldn't figure out how. *is terrible with technology* I'd VERY much appreciate it if you could ask around for me. And, yes, the story is painful, but it's irresistibly written, despite that. *hugs you* How are you? I think I'm mostly losing my mind here....

Oh yeah! I forgot - that's one of the communities with the pre-membership approval. o.o Um, yeah, it's a bit more complicated than just posting. No problem, I'd be happy to send it on. Finding fics is a worthwhile errand. :)

I'm doing good but busy. Work. And there's always more fics to be written then there is time to write them. But I just keep imagining the Clex and the days are better...

Clex lends itself to the tragedies as much as we want the hopeful endings. That was, unfortunately, a very possible way it could have gone. o.o Poor Lex.
