1.
Lying in the hammock,
I watch the neighbor's dog
snap at fallen leaves.
2.
The clouds are hollow, I'm sure of it.
and within their misty confines
little men with long beards sit
and pour out buckets over the pines;
and then they pedal their cloud and get
to somewhere where the sun don't shines.
3.
One, two, three small birds sitting;
one, two, three butterflies flitting;
one, two, three trees looming high;
one, two, three clouds in the sky;
one, two, three leaves floating down;
one, two, three moments all my own.
