Lifetime Trouble

Chapter 1

“WHAT DID YOU SAY????????” a loud scream echoed through out the Kim's resident.

“Yah, don't shout at me. I'm still feeling very depressed, you know?” Dangja squeezed herself between her younger sisters and avoided any eye contact with her little devil brother.

“Depressed? You went out shopping and going to beauty spa treatment all day. I don't think that is the sign of depression.... Noona!!!” Jaejoong couldn't help but scream at his sister once again.

“But it's really DEPRESSING~~~~~~~~~” Dangja tried to act sad and depressed as much as she could but it didn't work when dealing with Jaejoong.

“Come on Joongie. Why is this such a big deal? I just got dumped.” she sighed in defeated.

“Why? You asked me why???” Jaejoong tried to control his anger.

“Because you said you couldn't live without him and you nearly committed suicide after he left you!”

“Did I say that?” Dangja blinked her eyes at Jaejoong innocently.

“Well I get over that already....and never in my life that I would rid my precious life for a man...”

“You cried a river and screamed like crazy...”

“Yah! I'm an actress. I'm allowed to be exaggerated ok??” Dangja said stubbornly. Chloe and Nadia looked at each other and sighed tiredly.

“Wait....you were acting?” Chloe looked at her sister in shock.

“It was a good practice for unnie's up coming series....” Dangja squealed happily when thinking about her interesting roll in her new series.

“You like?” she turned to her two sisters who looked away as they didn't want to be a part of it.

“You... Arggg....” Jaejoong grasped his hair in frustration. He should have known that his third sister was always over reacting.

“Well, at least now you realize that he's not your type.... he's way too young for you...” he said while calming himself down.

“Who?”

“The guy you were so in love with!” Jaejoong waved the picture in front of her.

“As if!! He's like a decade older than me!” Dangja said grumpily.

“Does he look older than you?” Jaejoong pointed at the person in the picture.

“Who?” Dangja looked at the picture.

“Who is he?” she looked at her brother who stopped yapping and looking at her shockingly.

“Him...the one you lo....” Jaejoong paused and turned to his other sister who was giving him the innocent blink. He had a very bad feeling. Nadia didn't really tell him who the guy was. He took the picture from her and assumed that Yunho was the one who broke his sister's heart. When he met Yunho by fate at the mall the day before he confronted him, Yunho's personality was matched all the possibilities to be a bad guy.

“Oh silly.... It's not him....” Dangja giggled before pointing her finger to another person in the same picture.

“That's him...” she smiled at her brother.

“Him???????” Jaejoong shockingly looked at the man who was standing in the corner of the picture.

“His head is smaller than a matchstick head. How could....” he didn't know what to say anymore.

“Oh don't worry about that Joongie baby. He's happy now and I'm happy for him. Now I can find a new target to fall in love with....”

“Wait...wait.... Does he even.....know you?” Jaejoong didn't trust his sister.

“Nah,”

“YOU!!!!!” Jaejoong was in flame. He was about to jump at his sister.

“No Joongie-ah!” Chloe and Nadia dashed in to hold Jaejoong's arms.

“I'm sorry baby~ I just found that guy's picture from one of my photo shoots. He looked tasty so I took it home to have a closer look.” Dangja jumped off the settee and hid behind the curtain.

“You made me do something.... Urgg....” Jaejoong was furious. He thought of what he had done to the innocent man and he felt very depressed.

“Relax ok? Don't get mad or your face will have uninvited wrinkles.” Chloe knew how to get Jaejoong's attention and she was right.

“You're right.” Jaejoong stopped yapping. He stood still, closing his eyes and inhaling his breath deeper before gently releasing it out.

“What's going on?” a sweet voice was heard from the main entrance.

“Kat noona, you are back~” Jaejoong saw his eldest sister. His mood was changed immediately as he ran to her and gave her a tight hug.

“Joongie? Why are you back so soon? I thought the Mediterranean cruise is like a month.” Kat looked at him surprisingly. Nevertheless she missed her little brother so much. She gave him a gentle kiss on his cheek.

“Oh noona, Joongie would never abandon the trip that you and Ying noona especially gave me as my birthday present but....” Jaejoong looked down on the floor and acted sad.

“What's wrong sweety?” Kat was concerned. She knew that her brother would never leave his dream trip that her younger sister and her were forced to pay for it.

“Dangja noona got dumped and nearly killed herself so Chloe and Nadia noona....forced me to come back....” Jaejoong whined cutely.

“Joongie-ah...” Dangja, Chloe and Nadia looked at their little trouble maker.

“You girls....” Kat gave her young sisters a dead glare. She was very careful of how to spend money. Hearing that the super exclusively expensive cruise trip was wasted, she turned red.

“How could you force baby to come back?”

“Unnie-ah, we're just...” Chloe looked at Nadia. They needed to find the right answer before their sister chew their heads.

“Save it for later. I'll wait for Ying to come back home. Then I'll finish all of you the same time.” Kat said firmly.

“By the way, Joongie sweety... Ying's been complaining about her credit card. I think...”

“Ooh, would you look at that...Time really flies... I have to go now noona. I have an appointment to attend...” Jaejoong said quickly. He didn't prepare himself to explain about his expenses on his sister's supplement card.

“Nadia noona, let's go.” he gave her a dead glare.

“Yes dear.” Nadia sighed in defeat.

“I'll see you later tonight noona. I love you~” Jaejoong kissed Kat's cheek softly before waving goodbye to the other two. He then dragged Nadia out of the house.

*************

“How do I look, oppa?” Jihye asked her brother as she spun around in front of the full size mirror.

“Gorgeous.” Yunho said without looking at her but keeping his eyes on his iphone.

“Op...” Jihye glared at her brother. She pretended to go back in the changing room and came out with the same dress.

“How about this dress?”

“Splendid...” Yunho answered.

“Oppa! You didn't even look at me!” Jihye threw another dress at him.

“It's not my job to compliment you, Jihye.” Yunho said annoyingly.

“Be nice to your sister, Yunho.” Mrs. Jung spoke firmly as she entered the shop.

“Abonie.” Yunho walked toward his mother and gave her a light kiss on her cheek.

“You are finally here. Can I leave now?” he asked as he couldn't wait to get out of this nightmare.

“Can't you keep us company for awhile oppa?” Jihye was pouting unhappily. She knew how much her brother hated shopping but she still wanted him to be around.

“Just keep us company for awhile, Yunho.” Mrs. Jung said softly.

“Arasio abonie.” Yunho sighed softly before sitting himself on one of the couches inside the shop.

Yunho was bored to death. He kept looking at the clock and wondered who said time flew. From his point of view, the time he spent with his mother and sister was not even close to walking.

“How can they spend nearly an hour in one shop?” Yunho was amazed by how patient his sister and mother could be when it came to shopping. He brought out his phone and made some calls. While wondering his eyes around, his intention was stopped at the certain person.

“Tsk tsk tsk... after days of trying to find you....you just appear in front of me as if you know how much I want to see you....” he said softly while he gazed after the slim body.

“Yunho-ah.”

“Oh abonie, I got something urgent to take care of. I'll be back in half an hour, ok?” Yunho kissed his mother's cheek before rushing out of the shop quickly.

“Yunh-” Mrs. Jung sighed and shook her head.

“Jihye-ah, we'll have to go to the jewelry shop alone now that Yunho got some urgent thing to do.” she told her daughter who was busy choosing 7 out of 10 outfits she tried on earlier.

“That's ok. We can send invoices to oppa as a punishment.” Jihye said carelessly. Yunho would never refuse to spend money on the family need.

The other side of shopping centre, Yunho was entertaining himself by following someone who was dragging his sister in and out different shops. Somehow watching this work of art doing clothes scanning was more enjoyable than staying with his mother and sister. When he saw the wild rabbit entered the changing room, he elegantly walked into the shop.

“Noona, what do you think?” Jaejoong came out with one of his mix and match style of clothes.

“Wow...” Nadia was amazed with her brother's talent. It didn't matter if female's or male's clothes. Her brother could mix them so well as if those clothes were especially made for him.

“You looks amazing, dear.” another soft voice was heard behind Nadia.

“What the...” Jaejoong was tensed up as he recognized the voice. He slowly turned to the person.

“You...”

“Hi sweetheart...” Yunho smiled cheekily when he saw Jaejoong's pale face.

“Wh...What are you doing here?” Jaejoong moved back to stand behind his sister. He didn't like the way Yunho looked at him.

“Looking for my lover, of course.” Yunho enjoyed looking at Jaejoong's nervous smile.

“Who is your lover?”

“You are...” Yunho sweetly said.

“As if!” Jaejoong furiously screamed. He hated to see Yunho saying it so naturally and calmly. He turned away and stomped into the changing room.

“So stubborn...” Yunho mumbled softly and chuckled.

“Noona, let's go.” Jaejoong came out of the changing room. He gently put down the clothes that he had nicely folded. Saying thanks to the shop assistant before grasping his sister's wrist and walking out of the shop without waiting for the man who was calling after him.

“Joongie-ah, I think we lost him.” Nadia hauled her brother to walk slower.

“Oh.” Jaejoong looked back and stopped walking.

“Geeze, don't walk too fast. My legs are not as long as yours, ok?” Nadia panted hardly. She had to run while her brother just walked.

“That guy.... He just came out of nowhere. I thought I would never see him again.” Jaejoong was shocked to see Yunho again.

“Erm, we're Korea, sweetheart. There's a chance for us to run into him.” Nadia said while trying to breathe.

“But Korea is not that small, you know?” Jaejoong said with annoying tone.

“Hopefully I don't have to se-”

“Isn't that Kim Jaejoong?” another powerful and mature voice was heard.

“Oh crap. Please don't be...” Jaejoong had a bad feeling. He slowly turned to the voice and held his heart in shock.

“Kim Jaejoong, isn't it?” the old lady asked firmly.

“Erm, anyongaseyo Mrs. Jung.” Jaejoong wanted to curse his luck. After escaping from the tiger, he had to meet up with the crocodile.

“So Yunho invited you to come along. That's why he rushed out to see you.” Mrs. Jung nodded her head as she figured out the story.

“Not r...”

“Yes abonie. I asked my lover to meet us here so we can have lunch together.” Yunho finally caught up with Jaejoong and Nadia. He laughed slightly when he spotted his mother talking to the wild rabbit.

'Who is your lover, moron? Stop saying that so casually.' Jaejoong glared at Yunho as he was biting Yunho's head in his mind.

“I see. Then shall we go?” Mrs. Jung asked everyone.

“But I...” Jaejoong had to find the right excuse to get out of it. He didn't want to have anything to do with this snobbish family again.

“Actually mam...I'm here to tell you that....” he thought of his devious trick. He giggled in his mind before acting sad in front of them.

“I...I want to break up with Yunho.” he covered his face and pretended to sob.

“Baby...” Nadia was shocked to see her brother crying. She dashed to stand by his side.

“Pretend to console me and pat my back.” Jaejoong commanded his sister to do as he said. Nadia was dumbfounded but did what she was told. She patted his head gently.

“Wha....” Yunho was surprised by Jaejoong's sudden change of mood.

“I know that I'm not worth your love, Yunho. You have family to take care and reputation in society to keep. I can't.... I can't hold you down...” Jaejoong sobbed harder and his body started to tremble.

'And he said that Dangja unnie is the actress....' Nadia sighed softly when she saw her brother sobbing and explaining why he had to break up with Yunho.

“....” Yunho was speechless. He didn't expect Jaejoong to use this trick. He tried hard to hold back his laugh when he saw how good Jaejoong was in acting. He enjoyed seeing his mother's and sister's confusing face.

“That's why I decided to let him go... I don't want to be a dark spot in your family...” Jaejoong knew this type of people. Keeping up appearance was the most important for them because they cared more about their social life than anything else.

“....” Yunho couldn't speak a word as he still tried to stop himself from trembling.

“This is all I want to say. Please excuse us. I have to learn to live without Yunho so staying for lunch with you would be... a painful mo....” Jaejoong's shaking lips looked so real. He bowed down gently before turning away to give his sister a run away signal.

“Wait...” Mrs. Jung came back to her normal self. She stopped Jaejoong by the arm.

“I can't do that to my son. Eventhough it's not right to have you as my son's lover but Yunho chose you... So, I will have to deal with it.” she said while looking at her son's shocking face.

“You have to do the right thing, Yunho. Your engagement ceremony should be arranged within couple weeks. And your wedding should be one month after it.”

“Abonie...” Jihye was about to protest but she went quiet when she receive a glare from her mother.

“Let's talk about all details over lunch.” Mrs. Jung said firmly. She hooked her arm with shocking Jaejoong and led them to her favorite restaurant.

'Oh crap. What did you get yourself into, my dear baby brother?' Nadia was in the state of shock. She didn't expect Mrs. Jung to be this open. Giving a green light to her son to be married to the man was beyond anyone's expectation.

“I'm impressed with your sacrifice for Yunho. I can tell that you love him very much. I'm not going to hurt my son or you. So the only thing I can do now is to make you become a part of our family.”

“Mrs. Jung....” Jaejoong's eyes became very red. He cried out without shame as he was dragged by his arm.

“Ah, don't cry dear. I won't let you walk away from my son's now.” Mrs. Jung said softly as she squeezed Jaejoong's hand.

'But that's what I want....staying away from you guys....' Jaejoong talked to himself while crying harder.

“Try to run away again, wild rabbit...” Yunho mumbled softly as he followed his mother from behind.

The whole lunch time was a torture for Jaejoong. He wanted to get out of the room badly. What annoyed him the most was Jung Yunho. Yunho just kept quiet and listened to his mother's plan. Once in awhile he would turned to Jaejoong and gave him an evil smirk.

“Alright, I will have to continue with my shopping but I will also look for the engagement ring for you and Yunho. When I find the proper one, I will let you know.” Mrs. Jung said firmly as she got herself ready to leave the room.

“Don't worry about it, abonie. I will take care of that myself. How can I let my mother choose the couple rings for me?” Yunho smiled gently at his mother. He felt someone was boring a hole in his back and he didn't have to look to know who could that be.

“Fine then. I will leave it to you and Jaejoong.” Mrs. Jung looked at her son.

“I have to go now. Let's go Jihye.” she pulled her daughter up.

“You moron....” Jaejoong snapped the man as soon as Yunho's mother left the room.

“It's you who started the whole commotion.” Yunho leaned back on the wall.

“Whatever, I'm out of here.” Jaejoong pulled his sister who was busy eating at the moment.

“But we have to look for our engagement ring.” Yunho looked at the furious man with a cheeky smile on his face.

“Who want to be engaged to an idiot like you?” Jaejoong looked at Yunho from the corner of his eyes.

“You...” Yunho loved to see Jaejoong's defensive action. It was too much fun.

“Yah! I don't!” Jaejoong had no idea that he was now Yunho's favorite toy.

“Come on, Joongie. It's just an engagement and marriage.”

“Are you crazy??? I haven't accomplished my dream. And why should I tie myself down with the person I hate.”

“Agree with me or suffer the consequences.” Yunho looked at him intensely. He was tired of playing with this stubborn rabbit.

“What more damage can you do?” Jaejoong looked back. No one could force him to do things he didn't want.

“You have no idea what I'm capable of....”

“Like I care.”

“Kim Jaejoong, I'm telling you one last time. Agree to marry me or-”

“Or what?” Jaejoong was never afraid of anyone. He looked at Yunho's expressionless face.

“Make me if you dare.” he dragged his noona out of the room without looking back at the man.

“If that's what you want, I will grand your wish....” Jaejoong's last sentence got him all excited. He never had anyone bravely challenged him like this before.

“I guess I have to be very serious with this rabbit hunting game....” he gave out a very satisfaction smile.

***********

“Abonie, how could you agree to have oppa married a man?” Jihye was still unhappy with her mother's decision.

“Jihye, your brother loves him. What can we do? Do you want to hurt him?” Mrs. Jung said softly.

“But that's not what we've been doing, abonie? Chasing away those girls who was with oppa.”

“Sweetheart, aren't you bored with bullying those stupid brainless girls who's after your brother?” Mrs. Jung said firmly as she gave her daughter an evil smile.

“Abonie....” Jihye smiled as she knew what her mother was planing to do.

“This is the first time that Yunho's serious with someone and that someone is a man... Don't you think that we'll have more fun bullying this boy for a change?” Mrs. Jung's real attention gave Jihye a wide smile.

“But he will be married to oppa...”

“Having a live in toy is more enjoyable, isn't it?” Mrs. Jung smiled to her daughter.

“Plus we can also get rid of all girls who has their eyes on Yunho since Yunho's turned gay.”

“Oh abonie, you are so clever...” Jihye loved her mother's evil plan.

“And when we're done with him, just give him money and kick him out. A few million should do.” Mrs. Jung thought of her plan and laughed to herself.

“Ah, we're gonna have lots of fun...”

“Yes abonie.... but...” Jihye thought of something.

“I know. I will have to persuade your father to agree with this arrangement.” Mrs. Jung said.

“Anyway, we still have time. Let's enjoy our shopping dear.” she said to her beloved daughter and walked hand in hand into the jewelry shop.
