Eurovision Australia Decides

Feb 26, 2022 13:32

So tonight Australia makes the second most important decision of the year (besides removing ScoMo), it is Australia Decides... for Eurovision

the running order of the show will be

G-Nation -"Bite Me" - this 6 piece girl band will not be able to have backing singers and we will see how much that matters

Erica Padilla - "To the Bottom" - it starts from a weak position in second, particularly being after a popular act and Erica being virtually unknown

Seann Miley Moore - "My Body" - Sounds like 2-3 songs stitched together, but that never held Beyonce back. Sheldon Riley and Andrew Lambrou might though

Charley -"I Suck at Being Lonely" - This will possibly finish in the bottom half due to acts with a greater profile all doing ballady work in the event

Andrew Lambrou - "Electrify" - This is in my top 3 pre event and it will all depend on how it is performed. It is a toe tapper

Sheldon Riley - "Not the Same" - ever rising anthem which demands so much energy it leaves you with none

Paulini - "We Are One" - A well loved performer doing a tried formula. should finish in the middle... of the 1970s

Jaguar Jonze - "Little Fires" - The only think I don't like about Miss Jonze is her previous attempt in Australia decides. this song is much better and could be near the top

Isaiah Firebrace and Evie Irie - "When I'm with You" - a standard R&B track. I want to love it for Isaiah, but it is Evie's song

Voyager - "Dreamer" - Told by good sources that this is not Voyagers best, usually they are less synthy. this song stands out though as nothing really fits with its genre. from the chorus this has great dimensions though... and by dimensions I mean bass. my #1

Jude York - "I Won't Need to Dream" - complete change in tempo from the last song which could leave this forgotten. It is a pretty song to finish the event to and put people to sleep.
