This is now quite what I expected from Ella Hooper. Understandable seeing it was written by well known composer and choral arranger Alice Chance rather than Hooper herself. Strange that an ARIA and APRA award winning songwriter would not go in with her own composition. Stranger still that she would promote it with such a Naff video. What is with the leopard print leggings?

The song is The Dandy Warhol's meets 1980's pop. Apparently it grows on you, but then so does Melanoma, so it is not always a good thing. It is disappointing because I really wanted Ella to be really good. This is not 'Weir' or 'Mascara', nowhere near them.

The only good thing about this song is that it is still better than pretty much all the songs by 'talent' show winners. It it very much a technology song written by an old person, so it may appeal to the older audience that SBS attracts. Maybe that's the point. Young people wont watch so there is no point being cool. It wont win though
