Promotion fever
So who would have thought that with added pay and hours comes added responsibility... hmm. Anyway so I am getting a buck more an hour and more money and the power over people and to open and close as well as to handle the safe and deposits... Jesus I am an adult (as emme put it) They gave me keys... KEYS FOR GODS SAKE!!! Keep in mind that is plural. I have no idea where my copy of the key to my house is let alone three keys to a store. and then a password for the security system and code for the safe. Hmm... I think I shall remember them by finding out what they spell. Oh and to take the cake I am an opener... That means I have to be into work at 9:30... what the fuck is that?! and not just occasionally opening... aside from tuesday I open everyday this week. The interesting part will be monday... my first day opening and also the only day I am opening by myself. see next week is still technically my training week though I know a lot of the stuff as it is so they have schedualed another manager to open with me to show me the ropes and stuff. However monday I was not schedualed to work but jeff wants me to cover his shift so I am going in and he is showing me the ropes quickly and I am taking control and opening all by myself. that means an hour and a half by myself.. what if something goes wrong? Jesus. was this all worth it? duh thats a dumb question I am getting more cash money in the bank of course its all worth it.
