Kitten and being pregnant

I want a kitten. I know there is something out there about pregnant women and cats and babies with cats. Is this something that I really have to worry about? As long as I have someone else change the litter pan arent I in the clear? Give me your thoughts!

You are right, as long as you don't handle the litter you are in the clear. Cat poop can carry taxoplasmosis and that is what is harmful to pregnant women.

The only thing you have to worry about is toxoplasmosis. It's the disease pregnant women contract from the feces in the litter. Have Austin take care of the kitty litter and you should be all set :)
