Today was one of the best days of my life.

In all sincerity, today was one of my best days.
And it had NOTHING to do with a girl!

I slept over at my best friends house.
I woke up pretty early, got ready and drove to Chicago(ish) with a friend.
We stopped by a skatepark.

Skateboarding, amazing, fun, awesome.
Whether I'm good or not, it's such a great release.
Having a friend that will skate with me is great, not to mention he also golfs with me.

After the skatepark, off to a bikeshop.
Saw a cool bike, but not my size.

Another bike shop.
They had exactly what I wanted.
I test rode it.
I bought it.

I drove home, stopping at a different skatepark this time.
Little kids called me Jesus as I skated up.
I felt like a celebrity to the posse of little skaters.
I nailed some AWESOME stuff I would have never guessed I could do.

After driving home, I got to ride my new bike 12+ miles with a big group of close friends.

Life does NOT get any better than this.

I've felt so much happiness and joy today.
So much adrenaline.
So much anticipation.
So many perfect feelings.

Girlfriend or no girlfriend, I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life.
