For some reason, my mind insists on imposing emotions of human-level complexity over what is in essence merely a territorial disagreement between two animals. Cats aren't capable of feeling resentment, and it's obvious Unique bears no ill will toward me (she hasn't scratched at me since before we brought Chaz into the apartment on Friday), and yet I can't help but believe that she's begun to hate us for introducing him into her environment, and that she's capable of holding a very long grudge against him and us alike.
