long time no see
yep... its true, i have been slacking....
not my fault, i blame the illinois nazis myself.
heres what has been up:
- SFT is still running strong, recording an EP in a couple of weeks, its probably going to be one of those legendary CDs that people will be talking about for years to come. more than likely.
- im working a lot more lately, like 10 more hours a week than before. working out in the garden center some of the time, in the camera/video department some of the time, in the GM department most of the time.... i just got a raise, a whole 20 cents.... yippie!... if this were the 50's i would be planning a vacation....
- i purchased the new Nine Inch Nails CD "withateetha" the day it came out, i cant stop listening to it... its that good.
- my hair is long.... er... than it was like 6 months ago when i stopped cutting it... people that havent seen me in a while are always like who the hell are- OH MY GOD ITS JAKE NICHOLS.... youre right it is.... this happens because A) i have never grown my hair out to any length other than short B) thats it....
- thats all i can think of....
shawn and kelly and i, the other night found this cheezit things with chewbacca on the front of them... they are like little cheese twists.... shawn noted that those are probably what wookie penises look like, and after he said that we laughed, not because of what he said but because on the box there was a picture of one of the twists broken in half, and then further inspection of the box would show that the look on chewbacca's face was a look of.... concern.... like his penis had just been snapped in half....
me and shawn's "andichitmonks" joke has resurfaced after a few months of hibernation.... i havent laughed so hard in a long long time...

our shows lately have been getting some slacked attendance and i credit to that to the rising popularity of dr. groove... not because they are stealing fans or telling people not to come see us, but because people who like us, usually like them, and they have to choose which band to go see, like they dont have the money/time to see both of us so that usually splits our crowd.... which now we are trying to reach out into the shitty depths of cedar falls and maybe get some of those kids to come to our shows... it'll be a hard task cause they are cookie cutter kids that dont really like different sounding bands.... i dunno whatever...
im gonna go find something to eat...
