What a weekend!
So, Friday I got these phone calls from this woman that works with Middle School Youth at Oakhurst. She aked me what I was doing on Saturday, and I, not realizing she meant THE WHOLE DAY, said I was doing nothing. I therefore volunteered myself to spend the night with three kids in a yurt overnight, getting them to write a Pauline letter to the church. And I mean to tell you, it was a BLAST! I had a great time, I got to spend some time with some kids that I don't ever see, and they were great!
So, I did, and then I had a Youth Ministry Team meeting from 1-5, and now, I'm working with my writing partner, W. DEREK RATLIFF, who's sitting beside me, on our TV show. We've finished the pilot, and it clocks in at just over an hour and fifteen minutes, not including business and action. We're very excited, and we're discussing the table read that we're about to have.
