Finally managed to get i-net access. Whew...it's been quite an experience. Everything is very expensive here (i paid $6 for a cup of coffee,) but the supermarket nearby the residences is reasonable. Met an English bloke who isn't as fazed by the prices so i'll have to be careful if i go to the uk.
Hee hee i can type funny letters åøæåøæåøæ øåæø øåæø øåøæøå ¤¤¤¤¤¤¤
Room is clean, sparse. Usable. Need curtains: far too much light at night (mostly from train station opposite but aurora borealis may have been visible last night...saw a glow in the sky in approx the right direction)
Language has been interesting (the second person i spoke to after landing couldn't speak english :( but I was only after a phonecard so that was managable) so i'll hafta try to learn more. i feel like such a tool not being able to understand much of what's said to me...i'm practising my pathetic look a lot.
It's actually not that cold here. At night it can be very brisk but during the day jeans tshirt and a good jacket are fine. Once the sun goes down is another matter though.
And guys? Feel free to leave a comment or email me...if anybody's reading this :P
