It's been a relaxed week, which is really what I think I needed after the craziness since we've gotten here. KT and I have managed to do some really good work on the play and I'm excited to get more done. Tonight is Shabbat, so I'll be going to Shabbat dinner, which always has good food, and then hopefully writing for awhile. I'm getting very excited for the end of January, because I've put together a trip for ten to twelve of us to go on. It's a weeklong cruise on a 5-star ship down the Nile River. I think it will be exactly what everybody needs around that time. It's always so exciting to explore places that are completely foreign. I'm really hoping our friend Virginia can come because we'd love to see her. Fortunately I've managed to get the cruise price down to 159 pounds so all she needs is a plane ticket for cheap. I feel like Israel is very small, but has so many different environments, that I'll still only see half the country in my time here. I like that, because it leaves room for more. I hear that Christmas is in full swing back in the states, and it even snowed in Seattle a few weeks ago, and it's so hard to imagine. Yesterday was about 85 degrees. I got a new phone number, it's 011-052-609-2681. On Tuesday all the artists went out with a visual artist from Tel Aviv into the desert and we did "artistic" things like rock massages and sculptures and hikes to pretty things. It was fun, but didn't really feel all that inspirational. Really just being here is inspirational, so I guess I'm constantly inspired to create. We picked up some colored sand while we were there. Yellow, Red, Purple, White, Orange, and others. They're actually quite striking to look at. Hope everyone has a great Friday (or whatever day it is when you read this.)
