Kind of a random question, but I curious as to YOUR opinion.

Poll "indie" folk vs. folk-rock

I feel like they pretty much mean the same thing, and yet one turns me off more than the other.

Indie folk sounds repetetive to me. I know folk doesn't have to be indie, but if someone told me they played in an indie folk band, I'd want to punch them in the face. Plain and simple.

I agree 100%. It could only be worse if they called themselves alt-indie-folk.
