This week felt really long. Freshman and Sophmores had OGT testing, so naturally they had to screw up our schedules too, instead of letting us come in late like every other school in Ohio did. I wouldn't complain, but we had to watch Passport to Paris in French because of it. I forgot how much I hate Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, but I believe they're the reason society is so fucked up.
I hate Mrs. Ostravich. I'm getting incredibly tired of her telling us how lazy our writing class is for not having our work done when she doesn't assign us anything until the last minute of class because she spends the entire period talking about how dumb we are. Although, her being a bitch did lead to an lol moment:
Mrs. Bitchface: See how annoying the 8th graders are? That's why I was so cranky when I had you guys in 8th grade.
Caitie: Then why are you so cranky now?
I have never seen a look so dirty from a teacher in my life.
Yesterday we got out of school 15 minutes early, and our band thing was canceled. The only downside is that it left me with nothing to do last night, but it was alright. I haven't sat around at home like that for a while, and it felt nice to change things up a little. I watched House, then sat around listening to Thelonious Monk. Nice and relaxing.
Mr. Houk figured out that it wasn't actually my mom who signed my drug/alcohol form for the band trip. Damn Mandy and her manly handwriting. Oh well, I'm not in trouble, I just have to get it signed by my mom for realz this time.
I love SoulSeek, having a CD burner, and having a flash drive. I've burnt about 11 CD's in the past 2 weeks that I've had the flash drive for my lap top, and I'm one song away from CD number 12. You have no idea how much money this has saved me.
Speaking of music, a few thoughts:
1.) Mazzy Star's Among My Swan may get my vote as greatest "night time" album of all time.
2.) Sun Kil Moon = most depressing band ever. Not in the "oh my God, the Fray is so horrible it depresses me!", but in the good way.
3.) When it comes to Sufjan albums: Michigan totally ass-rapes Illinois. I don't know why so many people have it backwards.
4.) I don't have a 4th one, but I wanted to end this with an even number.
I'm buying new shoes today. The first time since 9th grade, which is weird. The thing is: I don't know if I want to try something new, or go with the old dependable Adidas indoor soccer shoes. I'm thinking of making a compromise and getting indoor shoes that look different than the kind I usually wear. I'd get those Descendents Vans, but they don't make them anymore, plus everyone wears Vans, and I'm not really that big on Vans anyway. "OMGZ LOOK! IT'S THE SAME DESIGN ON EVERY SHOE, BUT IN A DIFFERENT COLOR! OMGZ!!!". If only they made velcro Power Rangers shoes for 18 years olds, then I'd know exactly what to get.
I can't post comments for some reason, so thank you to everyone who posted on my last entry. And to answer Diana's question: no, we don't have any pictures that I can put on the computer since we don't have a scanner. But, he was a black cat, and since he was a runt, he was still the size of a kitten.
