It's going to be a busy Spring break. We've been playing extra gigs at the Bronze because of everyone being out of school. Tonight is Summer and Eric's reception at Ralph's, so Bindi and I will be attending that. Pretty sure Marcus, Amber, Nick, Theresa and everyone will be going too. It should be cool. I heard they're closing the place down to the normal crowd since us teenagers will be there.
I finally had the talk with Dad about school. He's agreed that if I attend classes at UCLA, he will help pay my apartment if I want to live off campus and pursue the music stuff. My grades have to stay up, but it's a fair deal. It turns out he asked his girlfriend to marry him. I haven't told Amber yet because she is going to freak out.
Dad is happy though. I don't really like my future stepmonster, but what can I do? Mom said she was cool with it, but I'm not sure if she is being straight with me or not. She said she'd tell Amber, but I may go ahead and tell her. I don't know. I guess it's too much to ask that Dad be the one to tell her.
I'm hoping Bindi and I can work in a trip to LA this weekend. Nick's birthday party is Friday night, but we don't have to play the Bronze Sunday, so maybe we can take off then.
