(no subject)
HI!
Just wanted to say... there's a woodpecker in our garden!!!!! (see if you can find the pixel of woodpecker on the photo)
it's on the branch... sorry, bad photography, but it flew off when i got there. doesn't seem to be afraid the the builders next door are using a jackhammer 24 7, but me and my camera are apparently too much to cope with. it was(is) white, black, and has very charming little red stripes. oh to be a woodpecker!
Firstly...Christopher Street day, the gay and lesbian parade in berlin. It was cool.
the Kaiser Wilhelm memorial church is in the background.
the next week i was in venice... SO SO SO nice! (and OMG how many tourists!!!)
charming. but TOOOO hot. i had never been in the situation before, where i thought that if i shut my eyes and fell asleep i would never wake up again.... it was so unbelievably hot. sweating didn't just limit itself to your armpits. sorry. but god, only a bushfire would beat this one. (pant)
and rome... beautiful, once again. also hot. had the best accomodation, a sort of nunnery for german girls. =)
the colosseum. the best! and btw, mamon, it is actually quite big. very, in fact! bigger than ben hur, one might say. =O
well that's it ppl! see ya! (btw, i think i am in danger of loosing my australian idionisms... see, i can't even remember the word! i was sitting in the train today and thought in some toffey nosed english accent (don't ask me why) 'i must not forget to do such and such...' (for explanation last year it would have been 'I've godda do thad'... =P
