...and on the fifth day the child came home and looked about her at the work of God and the Stir-fry and was displeased. and i ask you: is the child who sniffs the food that the hand of God has stirred and then declares (rudely and with a face like a sour lemon and spitting the last syllable like a bad taste) 'There's no way i'm going to eat that!' worthy of an egg to split and cook, so that her hunger may be stilled?
(ps i don't pretend to be god)
ps has anyone seen the Da Vinci Code?
ps the face at the top is hardly what i would have chosen for cynical, but there you go.
but i think i was onto socialists. this red is to conspicuous. you would see it from under the bed. the commies of the 50s must have employed a darker colour. like this perhaps. anyway, leanne, back to you. if the guy then looked at you with a face of stone and cold blue eyes and said 'my mother had to dig up the ground with her bare hands for potatoes and plant the trees to get the wood for the roof over our heads. then the drought came and we had nothing to eat, and then my littlest sister dissapeared, and our bellies were filled' well, then i would be a bit like 'oh!'. apparently socialists take everything really personally, an dthen attack the person who kritisized (german is screwing up my spelling majorly!sorry dudettes) them. on the other hand, those in favous of a deeper, less passionate colour apparently dismiss all opponents as unworthy and unknowledgeble beings. so both have their faults. hah. ( please tell me if you agree.)
btw, the whole commie quote thing is actually based on fact from various communist eras. potatoes with bare hands... german women in general after the second world war, planting trees for wood... welcome to the GDR, and that quote which i never read in Revs cos it was too gruesome (jemma read it for me=) ) about the baby that got pulled apart. opk, sorry, onto happier things.
SOmething that leaves the whole of the poor world behind to focus on a purely selfish and egoistic goal..
