I Miss Popcorn

Not microwave popcorn, real popcorn. The kind made when you poured some oil in the bottom of a popcorn popper and waited for it to heat up and pop the kernels. And while you were waiting, you melted some butter to pour over it. Add a few shakes of salt and a tall, cold glass of milk. The perfect after dinner snack. Whole grain, too.

The microwave 100 calorie packs that I can have in 90 seconds are simply not the same. It's time to go looking for a real popcorn popper. Either that, or dedicate one of my pots to be a popcorn pan. I don't care for all the shaking, though...
