(no subject)
This weekend my mother discovered the joys of facebook. After persistent reminding from her friend Julie (my "Aunty".. ) I helped her set up an account. I feel so happy when I see her little face light up with joy when someone sends her a post. It seems like only yesterday I made her get wi - fi...
oh it's such an experience to watch them grow (read: enter the 21st century ;])
Anywho, has been a jam packed weekend and it's only Saturday. A little bit of me has died due to the fact that BD came out and no I haven't been able to even smell that book.. let alone read it... oh well...
Friday was really good. Earlier in the week my aunt called round and left a message for my mum.. Friday is Pizza night.. and so it was. 3 large pizza's.. and I stole some of mum's when she wasn't looking. Alex MAx, Bode, and I were all on the wii for quite a while challenging each other and stuff.. I just need to point out that I did indeed whoop-ass... even with my little brother's pleas of "battle of the genders" ringing in my ear. Take that boys. 3 against one and I still beat you... AH ha ^_^
Anywho.. at like 9 or something we all walked down to the park... (originally it was supposed to be a jog around somewhere... but it somehow turned into a stroll =P).
We soon rectified that when B & M decided to run off... lol
Kay so B& M raced... thenn Alex and I did... then we all came back and all four of raced each other... the thing is whilst our mother suggested this running around, they were strolling languidly around. That thought only occurred to me when all three boys were sprawled out on the grass, and I was hunched over gasping for breath, and i could see my Aunty J, and mum walking along leisurely. Anyhow I when Bode called out "race you for the swings" my breath was suddenly restored and I found it quite easy to beat the boys once again. Unfortunately my short attention span meant that Alex was able to trick me off the swings. I'm still not sure how that I happened, I do recall him saying something from the round about, and then running to my vacated swing as soon as I got there. Lol... oh well . The park was a nice way to work off all the ice cream we had stuffed ourselves with after pizza. yeah so much for my eating healthily... lol
But wow, it really was hot.. because we ended up finishing the water in the fridge and the water in the bottles.. I tell you!
Today was saturday.. woke up and went to market with my mother.. bought meat, fish, beans, okro, pepper, iwedu, relaxer, and some other hair stuff (spray... shampoo, mosturiser) good stuff.
Anyhow.. although I always end up tired from carrying shopping bags and such I always enjoy going to market with my mum.. it gives us a chance to talk.. I dunno... you know? Well although we try to make time to talk and whatever during the week.. market trips are always more peaceful... or maybe just more relaxed.. and gives up oportuities to talk things over =]
Oh yay! got my lap top back. Apparently I've been more helpful round the house.
Anywya awaiting BD.. and my exam results and all sorts.
Oh yeah.. onen thing I'm really happy about.. I prayed today =] I haven't done so in soooo long.. It's really bad. I'm happy in my attempt to rectify that.
