Yeah, you did sound British. Sorry. It's because you guys say words so different over there - I think we put more emphasis on the ending of words, while you says things softer. Like...um...I think you guys tend to make 't' sound soft. For example: 'Important' (in your trailer) sounds like 'Im-poh-tan' to me.
I don't know what the American accent sounds like since I grew up with it. My favourite accent is the British accent, followed by Italian, and then Spanish. I wish I had an Italian accent (I'm mostly Italian), but it was lost awhile back - my parents don't even have that accent.
