Yay!! My weekend

I did some baking wooo!
lol. So I stayed over at Big Jo's house and we went to Westfield.... which is... GIGANORMOUS seriously you cant even say i'm going to walk from one end to the other.. we thought we were walking to one end, but it turned out that end was a corner to another part, which after trekking down there turned out to simply be a trail to another end. and that was only the first floor.

Oh but after about an hour on three different too warm to be entirely comfortable underground tubes, emerging from White City station, was like a cold shower on a hammertime afternoon in nigeria, Fantabulous! It was a bit cold though, but as it was a five minute walk i wasn't really that bothered... BigJo though... um she didn't enjoy the cold so much =]
Anyhow... they had a reception desk... well okay no first there was burger king downstairs.. which i thought was extremely random, but yeah escalators... leading upwards (as escalators do) brought us to the Ground floor. We by passed the two 'beautiful people' at the help desk, and headed over to the (wait for it) plasma, touch screen interactive direction navigation devices. Yup pretty much maps of the mall on a big screen thingy that ya touch.... but doesn't plasma touch screen interactive direction navigation devices just read better?

I tell you what Westfield London is missing though... you know those walking/ conveyor belt things, that you can get on at the airport...i think it's when your getting on to or coming of your flight.... those would be so useful--- --- --- they are getting a cinema though .

Seriously, oh and the toilets were a bit of a let down. I didn't use the toilet, but i did go inside to have a look... you have to dry your hands with tissue, and the locks on the back of the door, are a bit tricky, (why yes i was leaning back against the mirrors watching people go in, then open their doors twice or thrice to check the lock. *shrugs* like you haven't done anything stranger.) They were kind of pretty though they really don't compare to the best. but so far the best public toilets i have ever seen have to be the ones in parliament/ westminster. basically the ones in the building that you go in to before you go inside big ben... I forget the name of the building, but it's quite close to parliament . I hate using public toilets, but i would consider using those ones... the sinks are all glassy... uh huh, and the glass is completely clear (aka, not dirty) and it's all nice and pearly.. yeah.
Anyhow, in typical fashion there was a line to the ladies bathroom, yet the line for the mens was non existent.

I found this shop.. which, sigh. sells some really uniquely pretty clothes..but it's really out of my price range. When i say out of my price range.. i really mean out of anyone who's not riches price range. lol

Becca (Big Jo) showed me this white skirt, and it was really nice... i was thinking something along the lines of... 'this is mine, it'll go great with those shoes silver shoes that are in my room, and yeah, i could borrow that sweater mum has.... ' seriously in my mind it had already been slotted into my wardrobe.

Then my beautiful friend said, "Shame it's £100". yeah the skirt was dead to me, ... mah. Oh if anybody who reads this is rich... or curious.. or would actually fork out £86 for a top... its called desigual .

In fact a lot of clothes became 'dead to me' yesterday, there were a lot of high end shops there... in fact there were a lot of shops. got I thought i'd be buying a couple of outfits for university... ha ha... i didn't end up buying anything but food. 1 packet of 6 oreos. 1 packet of sour skittles, and two packets of crispy m&ms... which are really yummy.. anyhow. My weekend.

it was very nice. I had a very nice time at my friends house... her mum made chicken curry... and i tried dhal for the first time. We were drained after the shopping, but and it was really cold coming back.
Watched tv, with Rebecca's rents... then ... I watched SwimFan!...

Yeah a real nice saturday.

It snowed on sunday.. like they said it would, and after i got a lift from Becca's dad to the tram station... i got on the bus home.

Got home and my aunt and cousin were there, went to my room and read some new chapters from some of my fave authors on fictionpress, checked UCAS track, no more news... oh then i came downstairs.... and began to bake. oh my mum foundmy camera whilst i was gone and it was on my bed when i came back...  so without further ado ...

i hope you all had wonderful weekends too.

I know I did.

5 things i appreciate
  • my sight- i saw some really beautiful snow flakes today. And even though it was terribly cold, i just kind of stopped to think about how pretty they were and that there's no human that can make them
  •  my ability to walk underneath a wide wide canopy every day, look up and see it.
  • food
  • that i'm alive
  • my family annoying, loud, time consuming, and irritating as they can be, they're splendid and all  together too lovely

sleepover, westfield, food, fiction press, uni-clothes, friends, baking, february, smarties cookies, rambledom, month of ...
