From The Ashes stuff
Okay, so I obviously didn't update like I said I was going to. That's because I've spent this weekend doing other stuff that had nothing to do with writing and more about making money.
BUT, today . . .
I finished "A Fire Shall Be Woken". Mostly. I have a scene from "Usual Suspects" to fill in and then I'll be done.
I need to finish "The Plans That We've Made". It's about . . . 3/5 of the way through. I've posted the first three chapters over a year ago, and I've got part of the fourth. I'm considering cutting it down from 6 total to just four, since I think I don't have 6 chapters of material in that one.
Then I'm going to have a shorter piece that covers "Crossroad Blues" through "Hunted". I don't have a title for that yet.
After that is "Lay Me To Sleep", my Dean/Anna 'verse crossover with CSI. That's a shorter piece that I might run concurrently with some of the other ones.
I've decided that I'm not going to do more of these season-long pieces. I'm going to do them in shorter segments of a handful of episodes, because I've struggled with "A Fire" for so freaking long because I didn't feel I could skip past "No Exit". So starting with the Crossroad Blues/Croatoan/Hunted one, I'm going to just do a handful of episodes adapted at a time.
