One exam down, two to go
State librarian is over and done with! 8D
I think I did fairly well on one test out of the two lol I really doubt that will be enough to pass, but I'm trying not to think about it anymore and focus on my next exam coming up in two months, state library manager.
The question for the essay paper was: "Does written press still have a future?"
In the meantime, I finally had some positive answers for internships :)
I'm meeting with the director of an academic library of letters and languages on the 9th, and with the head of the medical library on the 12th.
I'm supposedly already taken in both, now I just have to see with them for precise dates.
I'm so glad that's settled. I've been trying to get an internship for 4 months already, so I've been really worried as to whether I'd find one at all this year x___x
I hope it will improve my motivation to pass those exams.
Apart from that, I had a drink with my old English teacher and she destroyed my hopes of going abroad through being a teacher of English ^^;;; According to her, you have to have connections in the right places for those jobs, and you have to be a junior high school teacher (simplifying here not to get into details of stupid French system). If I have any wish of being of high school level and better paid, I can forget about applying abroad.
So that makes me think over some of my plans for next year. I guess I had it coming. It is fairly stupid to go into teaching for the only sake of teaching abroad anyway... *sigh*

I'm going to try to study a bit harder in those two months I have left before the exam, especially since I might be on the internship for a month :'/
