It's on there twice because I don't know the Japanese title and added it in English. Heh. I wouldn't worry too much about the lack of old anime, at least not based on this meme. People are more likely to put stuff they've seen recently just because it's freshest in their minds.

I haven't seen enough of it to really know, but fadingembers likes it and she has pretty good taste.

Noir takes a while to get where it's going. A long while. Like, 5 DVDs (I'm devoted, had money to burn, and like saffic). It starts out very episodic: the girls go here to kill this person. The girls go there to kill that person who actually wants to kill them, etc. But the finale makes it all worthwhile. Very intense.

And great action sequences throughout.
