Oh, you have to get It turns your DS into a denki-jissho that you can write kanji into. It's a freaking godsend for translating.
Good luck with that last minute Christmas "shopping". Maybe Santa will leave a JBC under the tree for you.
笑 people use it in tokyo too...it's not 青森弁。well, at least i don't think so.
rob, yeah, you're reading me right. ;)
and you're also right about complaining about the cold here in tokyo. my apologies. though, upon a re-reading, i've decided it was less complaining and more a stating of the situation. about morning showers that is. and of the wonderful discovery of evening showers being toasty warm.
oh and alex, i don't understand your acronym. huh? BC? i'm gonna need a hint... 泣

so, that's the shortened version of "漢字検定" right?

Also I cannot tell you how ridiculous your complaints about the cold seem to a resident of Aomori-ken.
I'm working on THAT too, if I read you right.

Full On Tsugaru-Ben Example:
寒い所さ住んだことあるんだはんで、冬の運転は慣れたんだばって、怖ええ。
Although most of the time I just hear things like
