HEY HEY HEY! (oh, the tv show?)
it's officially too cold to take showers in the morning anymore.
my apartment is usually a nice 50 degrees in the morning.
yep, at that temperature, the shower's a killer.
but after an evening of having the heater on, no problem.
in fact, it's almost too hot right now.
wait...[too hot]? no, no. for once, cozy and warm!
the winter here isn't as cold as ohio. it's only 40s...? so, no snow.
but the lack of central heat will get you every time.
i got a flat tire the other day
(wow, was that...last sunday?!)
and i'm too lazy to get it fixed.
so i've been walking to school.
(which, is the situation's oxymoron)
35 minutes one way.
finally some kind of exercise! :P
6 days til home. :) :) :) yahoo!
i hung out all day with my best friend in japan. sayaka.
i also met another foreigner (a teacher at sayaka's english school).
friend possibility. she didn't seem weird at all.
you'll have that you know...i like to think i'm not one of "them." :P
though, i bought a NINTENDO DS LITE (eee!!) and kanji game.
so, i guess i'm getting there. yep, i'm a nerd.
but new toys are new toys and fun nonetheless!!
anyway, sayaka's family is awesome.
we (me, sayaka, her brother, her dad and another friend takeo) went to karaoke.
oh karaoke. oh japan. ;)
and her parents gave me christmas presents!
a glass ornament, chocolate and a her dad made a card on the computer.
he always writes the sweetest things.
enough to make me cry on most occassions.
this time though, i couldn't read a lot of it. ><
(ah, back to the kanji study game!!?)
so i busted out the kanji dictionary and went to work.
感動〜！
now i'm just missing one thing this "japanese christmas."
i'm working on it. i'm WORKING on it.
