The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears, or the sea.

So I don't feel like reading so I am going to procrastinate as much as possible by updating this. Let's see. So Valentine's Day was nice. Steve and I had agreed on not getting each other anything and just spending some time together. Well he showed up to my house before I went to tutoring with a dozen red roses. He's too cute. He said he couldn't let Valentine's day go by without getting me roses. Then I had parents night for guard. We did really good. I dropped my rifle the first time thru but got it the second time so I was pretty happy. Everyone said we looked really good which is always a plus. Steve had to work. He came but right before we went to perform he got a call so he had to leave. But it's all good. A lot of people showed up which was really nice so thank you to everyone who came. The rest of the week was cool. Nothing too special. Friday we had off so I slept in for the first time in forever. And probably the last time for forever. It felt so nice. I went out with Amy and the kids and my sister for a little on a mission that was never accomplished. Then we hung out at my house for most of the day. Steve picked me up later that night and I went back to his house and had dinner with him and his brother and dad. Our plan was to celebrate Valentine's day since I had guard and he had to work on Valentine's day but he was getting sick so instead of going out we sat in. It was nice tho. After we ate we watched a movie and then just sat around relaxing. I had a good time so I'm not complaining. Saturday my mom got me up early in attempt to accomplish my mission from the day before. We did. Sorta. Oh well. I got to see Frank's baby, MaryJane. She is gorgeous. Absolutly beautiful. She's so chunky and tiny. Then I had guard. First competition. I was nervous only because of rifle. But practice went well so I was confident. We got there and had an hour or so to walk around and as we were waiting to go into the gym we hear our music. At first we thought nothing of it and figured they were doing a sound check. But during sound checks you are aloud in and out of the gym. The doors were clossed. Don't you know there is a pee wee guard doing the same song as us!! How does that happen?!?!? And for that song, "Black water", for 2 guards to do it in the same year. That's insnae. And they had a dock! Hahaha we were a little upset. We just hope they weren't better then us! So then we went and did the whole warm-up thing and then had an awesome performance. The audience liked us. My mom said we had to have taken first or second for sure. We had a little over 2 hours of free time. Went and got something to drink and Vic and I shared ice cream. She got mad at me because apparently I'm her parents favorite daughter. But she got over it. Hahaha. So then we went and watched some more guards. The independent guards were really good. Light Brigade was there and their show this year is awesome. Then awards came. We took second. We were really excited. And the other guard that beat us only had 1.2 points on us. And we marched a blank. So we can be really good this year which is always a great feeling. This up coming weekend we're going up to Trenton for a power regional. Almost 30 guards in our division and only 8 go to finals. That's insane. But we were lucky enough to get seeded at the end of the group so we'll stick out to the judges. Hope all goes well. We got home at about 1 on saturday. As I pulled into my drive way a car stopped in front of it. I couldn't see who was in the car so I sat in my car for a minute deciding if I really wanted to get out. Then I hear them yelling stuff and realize Matt was in the passenger seat. So i get out and it was matt and brian. Chatted with them for a few minutes and then realized how cold it was so came in. Steve stopped by to say hello and then I was off to bed. Yesterday I got up early and got showered and had work at 11. I was only supposed to work until 5 but some how got stuck staying there until 6. No one would come help me on the stuffer so I just had an endless line for a while. Finally when I got down to know one I asked Meghan what time it was and she said almost 6. So i told Wendy I was supposed to leave at 5 and she told me to leave. Sweet didn't have to stay to help close! I really do love my job tho. I think it's the perfect job for me. I can really see myself having a good time. Everyone is so friendly and nice there. I love being able to interact with the kids. Especially when I can work the stuffer and make them do the heart ceremony. They get so excited! After work I came home and relaxed. John and Amy stopped by to say hello. And so did Steve for a little. But I spent most of the night just relaxing. It was nice. Today I layed around until almost 2. Showered and what not. Attempted some homework. Had an ortho appointment. Went to see Amy and the kids. And now I'm here. And I'm really tired for some reason. So I think I'm going to get my reading done and go to bed. School tomorrow. Not going Wednesday so I can go with everyone to celebrate Rachel's birthday with breakfast and tattoos. I came up with an idea I want for a tattoo but I'm scared. I'm not scared to get it. I'm scared at what my dad may do. And also at the fact that I have less money then I thought I did in my bank account so I'm not sure how I would pay for it. I may just make my decision on Wednesday when I get there. Maybe I'll talk to the people there and see what they think. Yea, we'll see. So I've just been able to kill about a half hour so I guess that is good enough. I hope you enjoy reading about my exciting life! Hahaha yea..
