It's Official!
I had the closed door meeting today...I will be starting my new position on Monday! (Link is friend-locked, so you'll need to be logged in.)
I even got to write my own congratulatory memo that will be sent to my co-workers.
A little more info: I'll be working on cost reports. Healthcare facilities (usually LTC) file cost reports for Medicaid and Medicare funding. It may sound boring, but I'm excited about having something new to do. From what I've been told, they're not difficult (beyond what any government form would be), but they can be tedious and time-consuming.
They haven't told Crazy yet. Crazy is my counterpart, and she seriously is. She'll be supposedly picking up my slack, but I somehow doubt she will. Perhaps her lack of helpfulness will finally get her fired. :)
