Most startling moment of my life...

Last night, I had one of the scariest and most startling moments of my entire life (no it wasn't the LSU game, though that ranks up there...)  It was around 12:00 in the morning and I was DEAD asleep, Amanda and I had spent all day cleaning and just catching up on some chores.  So, I am sound asleep and then all of the sudden Amanda is shoving me and yelling at me to wake up and I hear this awful cracking/scratching noise.  It woke me up so hard that I bolted out of the bed and screamed like a little girl!  Well, when I had enough sense to hear the noise and find out where it was coming from, it was coming from our window A/C unit.  I turn on the light and go up to the unit, and I get hit in the head with something.  Then I see something fly out and land on the floor.  Turn out it is ICE!!  The A/C unit has frozen over b/c it was so cold outside and ice began shooting out of the vents.  The cracking must have been the ice giving way and the other awful noise was probably the compressor trying to run while it was covered in ice.  Well, it took me about 5 minutes for my heart to stop racing and then I was able to fall back asleep.  In the end it was actually pretty funny and Amanda and I had a good laugh about it, but definitely not funny at the time! Amanda thought it was someone either shooting at the A/C or throwing rocks at it!  Crazy night...  GEAUX TIGERS & GEAUX PATS!!
