(no subject)
OK, to make my last entry make sense.....
I finally talked to Mandy, and found out that something happened (she said it was too long a story to tell on IM) between her, Sarah, and Brittany, and so she's no longer talking to them. So we're going to plan a time to get together and catch up on things and then I'll figure out what is up with that. We'll also have to plot a revenge on her ex-boyfriend... She broke up with him (from the a few of the things I've heard, he was a bit of a jerk anyway...) and he made up a bunch of lies that almost got her kicked out of dance company.... NO ONE! And I mean NO ONE!!! Gets my Mandy kicked out of dance company or even close to it..... Dancing is a part of her life and she's as passionate about it as I am, if not more. She also had some good things to tell me, like she's one of the main dancers in this year's all company number (Every year Mrs. Erwin has a number that everyone in company is in, so everyone is in at least 1 number). Which is great, now that most of Mrs. Erwin's favorite students have grauduated, I feel that things are a bit more fair, so other people who have as good of talent, if not better, can have a fiar shot at being stars too. To make that a bit clearer, in the past Mandy is usually an understudy in some of the good numbers, and with the passion she has, she makes sure she knows the dance inside and out, and so she does better than some people in the original cast, but only once has she been able to fill in for someone during a performance. She has been in good numbers with me, but still, I always thought it was crap that the more popular girls outranked her.... But now there is less favorites and more talent playing a role in dance company. That and Mrs. Erwin is finally seeing that Mandy is a great dancer and deserves more active parts (as I've observed during Dance Company auduitions when Mandy [the year before] was an apperitance, and this year completely skipped Corps De Ballet and went onto Soloist). Hopefully I'll get to see more of my Mandy in Evening of Dance.
Also, note to self: Play Performances on December 2&3 @ 7:00 PM at Glen Este PAC....

PS - I wonder when Randy (manager) will realize that I can't afford to see a doctor....
