This story, I took from "Chicken Soup for the Couples' Soul". So it's true.

It happened in Germany, in the Middle Ages. The year was 1141. Wolf, the Duke of Bavaria, sat trapped inside his castle of Weinsberg. Outside his walls lay the army of Frederick, the duke of Swabia, and his brother, the emperor Konrad.

In the end, just as it is in the beginning, it all comes down to choices. Choices that we make to be with who we will be with; choices to love and to cherish that person in the face of daunting challenges... But we being of an imperfect species, will we be able to make the right choice in the end? Have we already made the right choices in the beginning? Or are we simply meant to live with what choices we've made in the hopes that they're for the best? There's no telling what the future holds, nor the circumstances under which you'll have to make that final decision... All you can do, is hope that you make the right one, and see what happens.
