Day 20: Favorite Kiss-
My favorite kiss (shockingly enough) is a tie between two different couples
(1)
(Graphic belongs to the maker on the Fanforum-Dawson's Creek board- not mine)
Pacey and Joey's first kiss on Dawson's Creek. This one is a favorite because, honestly, I never believed the writers would ever give us Pacey and Joey in any form except for maybe as friends. The tension had been building for months between these characters onscreen, but really I think it was there much longer than that. The two opposites were made for each other and this kiss was so passionate. I remember grinning like a fool while watching. Such a great memory.

It's the kiss that only got released three years after it was taped. CBS called it the lost kiss and I think that was a pretty accurate title. I love this kiss because it shows that the show had the intention of going in the Danny/Lindsay direction long before they actually did (because of Anna's pregnancy). I also love the fact that Lindsay was the one that kissed him. For some reason I like that she's the aggressor. Danny is completely wrapped up in her spell. *grin*
Day 21: Favorite ship:
Sweet Lord... um I'm going to do my top four ships from the shows I watch right now, because I just have too many to name all of them:
(4)
Spinelli and Maxie (Spixie), General Hospital, ABC
There is so much to love about this couple, so much that the writers forgot about when they broke them up. They have an innocence about them that is cute. A maturity about them that is fantastic. A humor about them that makes watching them a joy. The writers never saw Spinelli as a real romantic suitor for Maxie for so long, and some (idiots) still refuse to see them as a match, but in Maxie's eyes [when written right] Spinelli was her perfect mate. I love them so much and all be gave up on the show when they broke them up, but I think that the tide might be turning back around and I can't wait to see this amazing couple reunite. Bradford Anderson and Kirsten Storms are just magic together. The chemistry and fun they had bleeds into their characters.
(3)
Lauren Zizes and Noah "Puck" Puckerman, Glee, Fox
Don't care about the haters. Don't care if people agree with me or not, this couple is epic. Puck needs a badass like Lauren to keep him in line and Lauren needs Puck (whether she likes it or not) because he has opened her up to new people and to the Glee club. I have no idea what the writers have in store for this duo, I've heard rumors about Ashley Fink (Lauren) not coming back, but I have to admit- if they go, I go. Honestly, they are the best part of the show. They are the perfect mix of sassy, sexy, funny and bad ass-y. *grin*
(2)
Penny and Leonard, CBS, The Big Bang Theory
From the first moment the show started I wanted them together. Most of season one was Leonard pining for Penny from afar, but there were moments of couple-dom. For Penny it was a time of learning. Learning about these brilliant men she's fallen into friendships with, learning about Leonard and about how she dates losers. At the end of the first season Penny and Leonard went out their first date... it was a mess. Season two didn't give us a whole lot for the most part, but season three was awesome. While right now they aren't together anymore, it's clear that they will be again soon. The love between them runs so much deeper than a boyfriend/girlfriend type- at the core of it is their friendship.
(1)
Danny Messer and Lindsay Monroe Messer, CBS, CSI: NY
I have gushed about this couple so much, I don't think there is anything left to say, but I'll try. Lindsay really is Danny's equal. She balances him. As he does for her. No matter what the problem they face it together. True it hasn't always been that way, both had the issue with letting the other see their weaknesses, but since Lindsay got pregnant and Lucy came into their lives, this couple has been the most commited, strongest and loving couple on TV. The love they share is so consuming that I really can't think of one without the other. As cheesy as it sounds, they complete each other. Danny isn't afraid to need Lindsay, which hasn't always been easy for him. And Lindsay isn't ashamed to open up her soul to Danny, which hasn't always been easy for her. Such a sweet, funny and giving couple. I just love them.
Day 22: Favorite Series Finale
Dawson's Creek, WB/CW
This one shocked me. It was such an emotional finale, but I loved it. It didn't hurt that I got Pacey/Joey in the end- sorry to all the Dawson/Joey fans- but that wasn't even the best part. It was the fact that while not everyone got a "happy" ending- Oh Jen- it felt like everything was complete. Each character moved on to the next phase of their lives and were at peace with the decisions they made. I still cry like a baby while watching the last fifteen minutes of the episode. I still grin like a fool at some of the jokes. It still warms my heart to see Pacey with Joey at the end.
