He is a hard nose CSI/detective at work and a loving father, husband at home. Oh and did I mention he's hot? True he has had his rough around the edges moments (The Rikki affair fail comes to mind) but for the most part he does his best to be the man that his friends and family can be proud to know and love.
Ryan Atwood, The OC:
He had a rough childhood. His father was an abusive drunk. His mother was a drunk gambler. His brother got arrested, then he got arrested. Ryan's life took a turn for the better when the Cohen's took him in, adopting him and showing him that he is worth love. Ryan is a good guy with a strong sense of right and wrong. He is the typical strong, silent type.
Rory Williams, Doctor Who:
He is sometimes insecure, always devoted to the love of his life, slightly sarcastic and very adorable. Rory is the type of man that will jump in front of a bullet for the people he loves and he has- repeatedly. While at times he worries that Amy loves the adventure the Doctor can give her more than she loves him, it never stops him from doing what needs to be done. He literally waited for his love. 2,000 years he waited and in the end he got the girl-- plus a daughter.
Noah "Puck" Puckerman, Glee:
He is a major player that met his match in his newest girlfriend. We don't know much about his home life. We know that his father left and his mother wants him to "date a nice jewish girl". He has a sister and that's about it. He plays guitar. Puck's got one of the best voices on the show. He is a sex God in his own mind. Puck feels things much more deeply than he wants people to know. In the end he is the bad ass of William McKinley High... well he is the male bad ass.

Day 15: Favorite Female Character:
Lindsay Monroe Messer, CSI: NY
She witnessed the murder of four of her best friends in high school. From that experience she learned to be tough and she channeled her toughness into a career as a CSI. She's not someone to mess with. She'll take you down. Lindsay loves fiercely and has a quirky sense of humor. She loves Speed Racer. Her dedication to her job is rivaled only by her dedication to her family. She gives a 120% to everything she does.
Taylor Townsend, The OC
Taylor is a whirlwind. She's funny and insecure. Brilliant and completely at ease with her own sexual needs. She's a loyal friend that will do anything that needs to be done to help out. Her mother is a raging witch that never showed Taylor she deserved to be loved. Her father ran out on her. She married a French man on a whim and came to regret that decision. Taylor has a deep love for anime. Her only real desire is to be loved completely and sometimes she goes a little crazy, but that's what makes her so freaking awesome.
Amy Pond, Doctor Who
She's always up for an adventure. Loves to fly through the skies. Waited for the Doctor to return for over ten years. Fell in love with her best friend, Rory and married him after he waited for her for 2,000 years. She's fierce in her loyalty. Doesn't back down from a fight and will always stand by the Doctor's and Rory's sides. Her love for the men in her life has always been complicated but in the end she has shown repeatedly that while the Doctor means the world to her, Rory has her heart and soul.
Lauren Zizes, Glee
She's a state champion wrestler. Loves food and doesn't apologize for it. Knows exactly how sexy she is. Lauren wanted Puck but made him work for her affection. She's a bad ass that will kick your ass if you push her (sorry Santana but you deserved that ass kicking). Her dead pan humor is so much like my own, I feel like we are kindred spirits. Unfortunately we know next to nothing about her past/family life (because the writers f'ing suck), but we do know that her parents supported her decision to join the wrestling team.
