So... (update post and some icons)
First I need to start with: I am writing the next chapter/part of Better With Three. I just haven't finished said part. *laughing* I got distracted, but I hope to be on track again very soon.
The reason I got distracted is because I found a new (well not exactly new) show that I absolutely adore. It's called "Royal Pains" and comes on the USA Network. The show is about a doctor, named Hank, that gets fired for letting a hospital benefactor die while trying to save another patient. He not only loses his job, but his girlfriend dumps him. His brother, Evan, wants to shake him out of his funk and takes him to the Hampton's for the weekend. During a high profile party, that the Lawson brothers crash, Hank ends up saving one of the party-goers. This gets the attention of Boris, the party host, who hires Hank as a personal doctor. Through Boris, Hank meets a lot of colorful rich people. He also decides that he isn't only going to be a doctor to the rich, he is going to help as many hard working people, that can't get elite medical care, as he can. Two of the "rich" people are Libby and Tucker. Tucker is a year old boy that's dad is pretty much a dead beat and he suffers from hemophilia. His girlfriend Libby, is a huge hypochondriac. These two are some of my favorite characters. *grin* The first season aired last summer and the second season is about to start June 3. It's a really good show. *grin*
Second reason: I just got a new job *insert lackluster yay here* Retail sucks, but it's a pay check and in a time when pay checks are as rare as diamonds, I can't complain too much.
I watched Sherlock Holmes and really enjoyed it. I thought Robert Downey Jr did a fantastic job as Sherlock and Jude Law made me giggle as Dr. Watson. I kinda hope the writers/director decide to do a sequel, because I found the entire movie rather interesting. Saw Iron Man 2...loved it! Hate Gwyneth Paltrow's acting, but I adored Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow. She was REALLY badass. I can't wait for the Advengers Movie... Yes I do know I'm a geek.
Did everyone watch Criminal Minds last night? OMG! Tim Curry has got to be one of the creepiest men on the planet. I really hated the end and am now pissed. Why do shows always have to leave you with a cliffhanger for the summer haitus? Really it just isn't fair.
For all that didn't know, my dog got hit by a car two weeks ago. Buddy had surgery last week and they wired his jaw so that it will heal correctly. It was a really scary time, but now he is almost back to normal. The wires bother him sometimes and he doesn't understand why he can't eat the dog food the other dogs eat, but oher than that, he is the same little sweetheart he was before the jerk hit him. I'm very blessed.
