All Quiet on the Western Front
Anybody who knows anything about me will know that I am a staunch radical, on the liberal, far left side. I'm not a traitor. Some people just can't accept that not everybody is "the same" in a country with a global reputation for being diverse in every way imaginable.
The Elf was talking about the fur coat trend. It really is rather disgusting. If you think about it all, psychologically. She says, people are shocked when she says, "Well what if we all stuffed Nicole Kidman because she is so beautiful". You know, how when you ask, "Why is there a deer on your wall?" and they reply, "Deers are beautiful animals." How amazingly sick is that? Unless you needed furs to survive bitter winters, in the remote wilderness...you shouldn't skin another animal for a show of social status.
Some people are so overbearingly arrogant. Deep down, we are no different from the "beasts" and "lower life-forms". We all believe sex is perfunctory for survival. It's innate, the topic should not be banned from schools, censored from films, or shushed and frowned upon on the streets. We're all animals. Just look what the human race does to itself. We are the only species that exists on Earth that kills for merely pleasure purposes, or killing for reasons that are far more sinister than the most basic need and drive to live. America has enough food to feed the entire world. We are 5% of the whole population in the WORLD over, yet we use like about 75% of the world's natural resources. Yes, we live in a "beautiful world". A world that is disposable. The truth is, not enough people in this country are wordly enough. They have this "Oh I'm American, and Americans dont give a fuck about other people or what they think." I'm all for individualism, but thats just going too far. America owes the world. America is not the world. We cannot push ourselves upon other people and cultures just for OUR own desire to BE the world. Under Bush, we've gone into like over 9 trillion in debt. If all the countries decided to withdraw that money all at once, we'd go bankrupt for sure. Yeah, clinton lowered the debt significantly to like 3 trillion from all the wars (WWII through Vietnam). Secretly, i want all the countries round the world to claim their just repayments. i wouldn't mind being dirt poor, if that means that people will get the message and realize what horrible creatures they really are. I've been dirt poor. Ironically, my parents have been that stereotypical slogan of American social mobility. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the country who has so generously given me citizenship and many rights...the majority of the world doesn't have full political freedom. I do my civic duty, and vote in all my school functions since I cannot vote for government issues just yet. I'm only saying, we can do better. You can't have progress, without hoping to fix the faults. America should honor its debts. Think of feeding the world first before kicking out "foreigners", promoting Nativism, and telling bums to "go get a job." How unreasonable is that? How are they supposed to get a fucking job when the world they live in has turned their back on them? Yeah, a bum wants sincerely to get a job in a coffee shop, you think he hasn't tried? One look at his raggedly clothes and out the door he goes, and with cruel reprisals, too.
