Been reading so much stuff on finances, jobs, careers, etc. lately.

The more I think about it, the more I don't want to go to grad school. At least not now. And most of it stems from how I feel the education system has become so corrupted. I dunno, it's mixed. Sometimes it feels so corrupted, and at other times, I want to say, "but it was an unforgettable life experience!" I think that if colleges were more upfront about WHAT they imparted to their students, I would feel better, because I do feel that they offer value to students. But I hate the false advertising that goes on.

Sigh. Join the system and fix it from the inside? Or work from the outside of the system and try and point out its flaws?

Had a terrible but hopefully (very, very miniscule amount of hope) productive discussion/argument with mom today, with cousin mediating and uncle witnessing. Cousin's advice was more constructive. Mom doesn't understand the concept of "constructive", but is extremely pro on the "criticism."

Oh well. Plans made for the coming months. We'll see what happens.

How's everyone else doing?
