Absinthe makes the Heart Grow Fonder
This week has been more heartwenching and surprisingly fun at times...
The Shit = My Leave was denied... so that means no week off to relax, no road trip to Sydney to meet up with friends, no SydCon (D&D tournament), no sleeping in, no fun times without worrying about work... it sucks. I've had my rage, just disappointed in the system which I trusted so yeah... Suckville.
The Fun = Thusday night went out clubing super hardcore style with Bianca. First she treated me to Zambero's which was awesome, then we had some of the Evil Absinthe, eventually met up with Lily at the Phoenix then later Mike & Calista rocked up.
So much dancing and drinking... it was just so much fun... I really let go & had a good time for the first time in... well far too long since I can't remember, and I refuse to check on my LJ on principle.... The only downside was the hangover at work the next day... not so good.
The Mediocre = Bianca left Friday... she said she would stay if I could convince her by taking her out on the town for a SuperBadAwesome time but she ran into her ex, Kyle. He reminded her of all the real bad times & that broke the mood. So... like so many females who I've grown close to... she's out of my life for the most part, until she comes back to visit... not sure when that'll be.
But we made a promise to work on a film project together (Codename 42) and I believe it'll happen in the future one day... Gotta Have Faith!

Friday Night at the Durham, one of my favourite bars....
Gavin, he's one of my mates from way back in the day. We worked on my first major film project together... So many good times... so many bad times... but he's still a loyal friend to watch ya back!
